Our Group began from a desire to expose more Franciscan students to the genius of G. K. Chesterton, by sponsoring events, guest speakers and an interaction of a service nature with students of our local Chesterton Academy track of Catholic Central highschool.
We have helped to Sponsor Dale Ahlquist’s visit to campus, a premier of a Chesterton performance on EWTN, building a bridge into the community and our local Chesterton Academy as well as striving to create a Chesterton institute on campus. Book readings, play readings, theatrical productions of Magic and Surprise are in the planning.
